Music speaks what cannot be expressed in English, Korean and other languages.

About 40 years ago, when I got hurt, sick or sad, my grandma and mom sang songs for me. And I still remember the feeling I was loved.

I participated several Youth Chorus Competition. And I still remember the silence before music, the audience attention, harmony, cheering and clapping.

When I was a member of  high school brass band, some members and I often played favorite songs together. And I still remember my friends’ smile after tears, the excitement of discovering new music style,  and encouragement for each other.

My friends sang a song for me on my wedding day, and I sang songs for them too. It’s great gift for special moment.

Singing campfire songs under the bright stars gave unforgettable moment to me.

Making harmony together erases the walls between people.

I didn’t have any family, friends, or acquaintances in this town.
More over, English is not my first language.
But now I have amazing people as friends and they are so important to me.
If there was no music between us, these relationship won’t be happened.

But how the music got into my life?

A pianist saw a small girl in an empty sanctuary in a church.
The girl was singing happily and sometimes she tried to play the song on the piano.
Yes, that’s the start.

What if I never heard songs from my grandmother and mom?
What if the pianist gave up to teach the girl because her family couldn’t afford the lesson fee?

Music is Fun.
Music is Love.
Music is always be with us.
